Projects

Ok, I lied I was too busy with family and homework to take any pictures, I'm hoping in the next few weeks to take pictures and post. On Friday I went to The Yarn Lady there was a small group which was nice, I brought some of my spinning and knitting of course. Also I met another spinner so she might bring her spinning wheel next Friday.

I was able to purchase more yarn for the cardi that I am currently working on and Emily purchased her autum color yarn for her scraf. Also last night Emily and I saw The Fountain, a great movie, so worth watching, I plan to get the sound track I it that much.

Need to hit the books and finish a few things, I have no Monday night class!! I am very happy about that.

Movie

Last night Emily and I needed a break from papers and studying so we went to see Happy Feet. It was too cute and funny as hell, plus to top it off we saw a preview for Happy Potter!! It's coming out July 13! I'm so going to see it!!

I plan to this coming week to post pictures of my projects, what we got from Japan. Plus a woman who comes to the knitting group at Yarn Lady works at a zoo and I might be able to get free wool from their goats! I am so excited about that.

Busy Work

It has been busy, the count down is on for papers and last minute stories for Public Affairs Class. Also at Long Beach there's been attacks, everyone is getting pretty scared I just hope the police catch the people who are doing this.

Last night I attended a guest speaker for people who don't know what to do with their majors. The guest speaker was from Young and Rubicam Brands so it might be worth looking into for an internship.

Last weekend Emily and I saw Babel, it was really good and held our interest. I see an ocar for Brad here, it was that good. I plan to hopefully post pictures from what Emily and I got from Jun and a Rowan book Emily bought that has some really cute projects.

The sweater pictures

So here are the sweater pictures I already post on the sweater KAL but I believe I did a good job. I cut te sweater and I bought some buttons for t so I'll post some more hopefully this weekend.

Movie

Last night Emily and I needed an escape from homework and went to see The Prestige. It was really good, it didn't end the way I thought it would which made it a better movie I believe.

Plus this week I wrote an opinion which I didn't care to write but I did, so I think overall it was an ok opinion. Right now I'm just working on homework and getting ready to sign up for classes. But if anyone needs to see a good movie see The Prestige.

Changing Projects

So I cut the sweater, it's a little tight in the shoulders but I'm hoping that once I sew on the buttons and the loops it'll look better. Right now I had to stop making the bi-cables, the cables were becoming a little more difficult than I thought it would be. So now I am making a Lady's Cardigan from a pattern a found in a knitting book from the library.

Also I've been spinning some more yarn and I'm making Clementine's Baltic Socks. Since I've seen them I've been wanting to make them. I plan to post pictures tomorrow. Now back to a paper.
