I've been watching the "Nightly News" and they showed Bush listening to the generals who are covering New Orleans and Hurrican Rita. The generals don't know if the country can ever truly be ready for terrorists attacks and natural disasters. I'm glad that they're willing to admit that we may never be ready for disasters.
As of right now The Red Cross is having a hard times helping with New Orleans victims. The organaztion doesn't have the network to help these people. I'm a little disgusted with their answer, I thought because of 9/11 The Red Cross would be better prepared for these types of situations. I hope next time soemthing like this occurs The Red Cross will be more prepared.
